Necron Lord is almost unkillable with ranged attacks and is annoying with his solar storms. I do not think it is reasonable to go beyond that as 1v1 should be resolved before anything else scary comes out. The necron lord is definitely a pain in the ass and probably the strongest hero out of all of them, but you can still play around him. And that is their necron warrior upgrade lvl 1 when they start to glow green. So the point is that you have to understand when necrons peak at their strength. Not quite how it went down to say the least. Turrets melt through the bastards but then they got to restore their monolith - instant " omae wa mou shindeiru." They even started to build a SECOND monolith, so I just noped outta the match because that's awful.ĭark Eldar due to the way their builders work I thought I would be able to get a pretty decent base going very quickly, making it harder to destroy. Sisters of Battle this is how I got the furthest into a match. Kroot Warrior squads with Tau my logic being 'if they eat corpses then they might stop reanimation'. I've tried literally every single faction and they still walk over me. Easy AI feels like a cakewalk so I'm not really set on backing down. If I somehow pull myself together and defend myself against it I struggle to attack any points it took and eventually get obliterated by swathes of Flayed Ones, Pariahs and the like (potentially even a restored monolith as well for extra shite). 9 times out of 10 when trying to play against a Necron AI (becuase them bois hella balanced) it usually rushes me with 2 squads of warriors and a lord.

RTS semi-noob (and complete Warhammer noob), trying to push myself by playing skirmishes against Normal AI.
